Biography
Hockey Dad, an Australian surf rock duo from Windang, New South Wales, was formed in 2013 by Zach Stephenson and Billy Fleming. The duo released their debut EP Dreamin' in June 2014, which led to a record deal with Farmer & the Owl. Their first studio album, Boronia, was released on August 12, 2016, followed by Blend Inn on February 9, 2018, and Brain Candy on July 31, 2020. Notable singles include "Can't Have Them" (2015) and "Safety Pin" (2024). Hockey Dad has toured extensively across Australia, New Zealand, and North America. The band has been recognized with nominations for awards such as the APRA Awards and J Award.
