Biography

hey1996 is a Korean indie rock band debuted in April 2020 with "97-2 (none fight)." With members Park Young-won (vocals, guitar), Kim Young-gon (drums), Jeon Tae-sang (piano) and Lee Joo-young (bass), the group is all from the same university where they met. After graduating, the four moved to Jeju Island and lived together to create romantic and melodic music. Their May 2026 single "New Green" entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 117 the same month.
