Heinz Maria Lins, born on November 25, 1916 in Munich, Germany, was a baritone singer from a musical family. He began performing at age four after early training in piano, violin, and clarinet. After studying medicine and serving during World War II, Heinz Maria Lins started his singing career in American nightclubs. Heinz Maria Lins gained recognition with songs like "In einer kleinen Konditorei" and "Ich hab' mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren", and for playing Cathedral Music Director Römer in Schwarzwaldmädel over 1600 times. He also voiced characters in films such as Fanfaren der Liebe and Don Giovanni. His notable albums include Der Zigeunerbaron/Gasparone (1975) and Eine Stimme Mit Herz (1983), with collaborations including Sári Barabás and Erika Köth. Heinz Maria Lins' career declined in the late 1960s, with his last engagement in 1987. He passed away on December 27, 2020.
