Heidi Rosemarie Brühl (January 30, 1942) was a German actress and recording artist from Gräfelfing, Upper Bavaria. She jumped to fame as a teenager in the 50s for playing the role of Dalli on a series of movies commonly known as âthe Immenhof filmsââDie Mädels vom Immenhof (1955), Hochzeit auf Immenhof (1955), and Ferien auf Immenhof (1957). Towards the end of the decade, Heidi Brühl landed a record deal with Philips and made her debut with the single âChico Chico Charlie,â reaching Number 5 on the German charts. In 1960, her single âWir wollen niemals auseinandergehnâ topped the domestic charts and was certified gold. The track was also a contender to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest but finished runner-up. Three years later, Heidi Brül was selected as the German entry at the eighth Eurovision Song Contest with the song âMarcel,â finishing in ninth place. Her studio debut, Annie Get Your Gun - Annie schiess los! saw the light in 1963 and climbed to Number 6 on the German charts, consolidating her status as one of Germanyâs biggest pop stars. Subsequently, Heidi Brühl issued the singles âHundert Mann und ein Befehlâ (1966) and âMein Weg mit dirâ (1967), which hit Number 8 and 33, respectively. She resumed her music career in the 80s with the disco-tinged English singles âYou Are a Part of My Heartâ and âNo Ties No Tears.â Heidi Brühl passed away in 1991 at the age of 49.
