Biography

Harry and the Potters, an American rock band from Norwood, Massachusetts, was formed in 2002 by brothers Joe and Paul DeGeorge. The duo initially gained traction when they spontaneously wrote seven Harry Potter-themed songs during a backyard concert that June. Their debut album Harry and the Potters was released under their independent label Eskimo Laboratories in 2003. In 2004, they followed up with Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock!. The band's unique blend of pop rock and wizardry themes garnered them a cult following within the Harry Potter fandom. They embarked on extensive tours, including library performances and international gigs in the UK and Netherlands. Notable releases include Harry and the Potters and the Power of Love (2006). The band also co-founded The Harry Potter Alliance charity organization and appeared in documentaries such as We Are Wizards.
