Madrigal was a Turkish alternativeârock group formed in 2007 in Kocaeli. The collective emerged from a shared interest in blending traditional Turkish melodies with contemporary rock elements, with founding members initially performing in local venues. Their first significant release was the EP Neden Diye Sorma in 2015, followed by singles such as "Neden Diye Sorma" and "Kelebekler" in 2015, which helped establish a regional following. In 2020, the single "Seni Dert Etmeler" achieved widespread streaming success on streaming platforms, marking a breakthrough moment for the band. The following year, the debut album Neogazino was issued, led by successful singles "Ne Zamandır Sendeyim" and "Dip". The group received the Altın Kelebek Award for Best Music Group in 2021, 2022 and 2023, reflecting its growing influence across Turkey. Madrigal continued to release new material and perform nationwide, solidifying its position within the contemporary Turkish rock scene.
