Biography
Grailknights, a metal band, was founded in Hanover in 2002, and were considered a powerful phenomenon in the field of heroic/power metal with a theatrical stage, carried by a community they call "Battlechoir". The band's members include Sir Optimus Prime, Sovereign Storm, Count Cranium, Duncan MacLoud and Lord Drumcules. Their debut album Across the Galaxy was released in 2004, followed by Return to Castle Grailskull (2006) and Alliance (2008). Subsequent releases include Calling the Choir (2014), Knightfall (2018) and Muscle Bound for Glory (2022). In 2025, Grailknights released Forever.
