Gilmelândia Palmeira dos Santos, known professionally as Gilmelândia, born on September 20, 1975, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, is a Brazilian singer. She began her music career with the release of her debut album, Me Beija (2001). She released the album Movimento (2002), followed by her first live album, Gilmelândia ao Vivo (2004). Her career includes notable singles such as "Maionese" (2001), which reached Number 1 in Brazil, and "Dominado" (2008). She released several EPs, including Gil (2014) and Tambor de Gil (2015).
