Biography
GENBLUE (å¹»èå°ç) is a six-member Taiwanese girl group under TEN Entertainment. They debuted on September 2, 2024, with the digital single "Cococo", releasing both Chinese and Korean versions. The group was formed through the reality survival show NEXT GIRLZ, which aired in July 2023, where they won six out of nine rounds. The group consists of XXIN, Ayeon, Yuan, Lili, Ayako and Nico. Before joining GENBLUE, some members had prior experience in the industry: Ayeon was part of the pre-debut group Root Sixteen and later Blue Fox before its disbandment in 2022, XXIN competed in Youth With You 2 but was eliminated early, and Yuan was set to appear on Dancing Diamond 52 but did not meet the age requirement. The final lineup was determined after a training and evaluation process in April 2024, during which Rong Rong and Vicky were removed, and Bido left voluntarily. Originally set for a May debut, the group postponed it to September. On March 6, 2025, GENBLUE released their EP, Act Like That.
