Biography
Gavy Queens was a Korean R&B/ballad trio formed in 2007, consisting of members Yu Mi-So, Han Da-Yeon, and Pan Sara. They debuted on 28â¯Decemberâ¯2007 with their first album New Born, whose title track "Two Letters" drew considerable attention; the group was named the best newcomer of January at the 2008 Cyberworld Digital Music Awards. On 7â¯Januaryâ¯2008 the trio released the digital single "Snow æ Love", and later that month they participated in the H7ç¾äºº Sun & Love Project, a collaboration with the B group. In September 2008 they issued their second album To The Heart, featuring the track "Undecided" whose video included former B member Dum-Mim. Despite the early momentum, the groupâs activity tapered after 2008, and in 2009 member Han Da-Yeon pursued a solo danceâpop career while the remaining members remained inactive. The trio received the Cyworld Digital Music Award for New Artist in 2008 and has since remained on hiatus. The track "Two Letters" on their full album New Born, released in 2007, entered Melon's Top 100 Singles MelOn chart at rank 73 in March 2008.
