Biography

Gale, born Carolina Isabel Colón Juarbe on May 16, 1993, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, is a singer-songwriter whose career blends Latin pop, electronic, and dance influences. With a strong musical foundation from childhood, she trained in classical singing, guitar, and musical theater before pursuing songwriting at Berklee College of Music. After moving to Miami in 2016, she debuted with the single "Fantasma" and later self-released her first album, Espirales Sin Sentido (2017), featuring the standout track "Levántate," which was selected as the official song of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Following the devastation of Hurricane Maria, she released Aquí Estamos (2018), a heartfelt tribute to Puerto Rico. After a period of reinvention, she gained renewed recognition with the album Lo Que No Te Dije (2023), showcasing her evolution as an artist. In 2024, she continued to expand her reach with the release of "Inevitable," a cover of Shakira’s hit, and the collaboration "La Razón" with Ana Mena. 2025 saw the release of "Ysilandia," which peaked at number 16 on the US Latin Pop Airplay chart.
