Biography
Future of the Left, an alternative rock band, was formed in Cardiff, Wales, in 2005 by former Mclusky members Andrew Falkous and Jack Egglestone, joined by bassist Julia Ruzicka. The group emerged from the dissolution of Mclusky and Jarcrew. Their breakthrough came with the limited 7âinch single "Fingers Become Thumbs"/"The Lord Hates a Coward" in 2007 under Too Pure, followed by the single "Adeadenemyalwayssmellsgood" that same year. The debut album Curses! also arrived in 2007, followed by Last Night I Saved Her from Vampires (2009) and Travels with Myself and Another (2009). Subsequent albums include The Plot Against Common Sense (2012), How to Stop Your Brain in an Accident (2013), and The Peace & Truce of Future of the Left (2016). The band toured extensively, supporting Les Savy Fav and touring the United States with Against Me!.
