Nourished by the British music of the late 1970s and early 1980s, particularly new wave and post-punk, French band Frustration was formed in 2002 by a group of passionate Parisian musicians: Fabrice Gilbert (vocals), Mark Adolf (drums) and Fred Campo (keyboards). They were later joined by guitarist Nicus Duteil and bassist Pat D. They are closely linked to Born Bad Records, who signed them for the first time in 2006, but began their recording adventure two years earlier with the release of their homonymous debut EP. In a career spanning almost fifteen years, Frustration has already released several albums: Relax in 2008, Uncivilized in 2012, as well as Empires of Shame in 2016 and So Cold Streams in 2019. It would be another five years before Frustration decided to add a new chapter to their discography with Our Decisions in 2024, a ten-track album.
