Biography
Franux BB, born Francisco Ãlvarez in 2001 in Lagomar, Ciudad de la Costa, Uruguay, grew up around tropical and popular music through his family before turning to trap and melodic rap in his own work. He began releasing music in 2020 with songs such as âNaughtyâ and âAy Mamá.â In 2021 he broke through more widely with âVersace Givenchy Dior,â then expanded its reach with âVersace Givenchy Dior (Remix)â featuring L-Gante; that same year he also appeared on Duki, Pekeño 77 and Mesitaâs âElla Es Mi Bitch,â and on âOffline Remixâ with MC Buzzz, Israel B, Bhavi, Lucho SSJ and Nickzzy. He kept building in 2022 with âO.V.N.I.,â then in 2023 released the EP LISTO and added collaborations including âAy Mamá (Remix)â with Pablo Chill-E and Dillom and âHoy Me Levanteâ with Pekeño 77, C.R.O, Lucho SSJ and Harry Nach. By 2024, after relocating to Buenos Aires, he issued âBarrio de la Caña,â followed by tracks such as âLa 40â and âLejos.â In 2025 he released his first full-length album, i, alongside singles including âGUAPA,â âRIRI,â and âDesaparecido,â and in 2026 he stayed active with a steady run of releases that included âMICHAEL,â âLatina,â âFire,â âVAPOR,â and âVuelta.â
