Denada Elizabeth Anggia Ayu Tambunan, known professionally as Denada, was born on December 19, 1978, in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is an Indonesian actress, model, and singer who began her music career at a young age, influenced by her mother Emilia Contessa, also a singer. Denada's debut album, Kujelang Hari, was released in 1994, marking the start of her musical journey. Her second album, Ini Album Gue.!!!, followed in 1996 and sparked media interest in whether she could surpass her motherâs success. After taking a break to study in Australia, Denada returned to Indonesia and shifted her focus to pop music. In 2013, she launched her own leather handbag brand with the help of her then-husband, Jerry Aurum.
