Biography

Flight Distance was an underground hip hop group from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, active from 2004 to 2018. The group consisted of MC Patience (Patrick Jodoin), DJ Calkuta (Callum Browne), and MC/producer Bender (Alexander Buchanan), a former King of the Dot champion. The group released its debut album, Run for Your Lives!, and the EP The Warning Shot in 2005. This was followed by the single “Real Teeth” in 2010 and their second studio album, Bad Information, in 2011. In 2013, the group released the single “Worth”, followed by their third studio album, High Priests of Low-Life, in 2014. By December 2014, the group had begun work on a fourth album titled Harmony Chlorine. However, the group became inactive following the unexpected death of Buchanan on 1 March 2018.
