Fewjar, a German musical duo consisting of Felix Denzer and Jakob Joiko, was formed in Berlin during winter 2009. The band's initial recordings were made as a Christmas gift for friends and family. In 2010, Fewjar began writing songs for their debut album Journey of Dam, which featured a mix of tracks and spoken-word interludes, released in 2011. Their second album, AFewSides, was released on 13 September 2013. The band's first full-length concert took place at the Bi Nuu club in Berlin on 18 May 2016. In October 2016, Fewjar released their third album, Until, followed by a Germany tour in November 2016 and additional shows in spring 2017. Andre Moghimi joined as an official member in December 2017, and the trio released their first album together, Gamma, on 25 April 2018.
