Biography
In business since 2011, French electro-pop duo Exotica consists of Julien Galner and Clara Cometti, who met in Paris after their respective experiences in Château Marmont and Koko Von Napoo. In addition to their cinematic tastes, the two share studio time to write, record and produce the Désorbitée EP, released in 2012 on the independent Chambre 404 label. The Exotica project was launched a few years later, with the single "Control Freak" released at the end of 2013, followed by the album La Vierge et le Lion a few months later. Their version of Françoise Hardy's "Une miss s'immisce", recorded in 2014, was featured two years later in the credits of Canadian director Xavier Dolan's film Juste la fin du monde. In the meantime, the duo continued to perform in Paris, composing music for designer Amélie Pichard's fashion show.
