Biography
Composer, author and lyricist, Eric Charden is best remembered for his association with Stone. " L'Avventura", "Made in Normandie " and "Il y a du soleil sur la France" were, in their time, the duo's hits, but these successes should not overshadow Charden's prolific personal career. " 14 ans les gauloises", "C'est boum la vie", "Je rocke ma vie " and, more recently, "Le Magnifique mensonge" and "Amalavague " make up a heritage that may be little-known, but which has nothing to envy the great hits of the duo's heyday. Eric Charden died on April 29, 2012 after a long illness, just as the re-formed Stone et Chaden had released the album Made in France.
