Hit Swedish dance-pop duo Elov & Beny aka Mattias "Elov" Elovsson (born 1989) and Oscar "Beny" Kilenius (born 1990) formed in the town of Örebro in 2008 and released their first single, "Singel och sökande," that same year. Following a further slew of singles, including 2014's "Kommer över dig," 2017's "Var ska vi sova inatt," and 2019's "Supa sova sex och likes," in 2019 they dropped their debut album, named after the latter: Supa sova sex och likes. After securing another hit single with 2020's "Blåser upp till grogg," in 2022 the pair scored a breakthrough hit with "Bubbel på balkongen," which shot to second place on the charts in both Sweden and Norway. The track was created in collaboration with the singer Sofie Svensson and her band Dom där. The following year, Elov & Beny took part in Sweden's Eurovision qualifier, Melodifestivalen 2023, with "Raggen gar," which was written by the pair alongside Johan Werner, Kristian Wejshag, and Tim Larsson and performed in the first part of the competition that took place in Gothenburg in February 2023. They went all the way to the semi-finals in Örnsköldsvik in March 2023, with a new single, "GLEN," following in July 2023.
