Biography
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Ekkstacy began his career in 2020, at the age of 18, and attracted attention as soon as his first tracks, such as "Uncomparable" and "See You Later ", were released. In 2021, he unveiled "I Walk This Earth all by Myself" (#50 on Billboard's Hot Rock Songs chart in the U.S.), taken from his first mini-album, Negative. Darkly influenced by a difficult childhood of drugs and alcohol, his music blends many elements: gothic rock, synth wave and modern surf rock influenced by The Drums. Ekkstacy is selected by British music magazine NME as one of the top 100 emerging artists of 2022. During this period, he embarked on a European tour, dubbed the "Negative Tour", and released his second album, Misery, featuring the singles "Wish I Was Dead" and "I Want to Die in Your Arms".
