Biography

Edison's Children, a progressive rock group from the United States of America, was formed in 2011 and consisted of Rick Armstrong, Pete Trewavas, and Eric Blackwood. Their music is characterized by epic concept albums with supernatural, apocalyptic, and extraterrestrial themes. Edison's Children released their debut album In the Last Waking Moments... in 2011, featuring all members of Marillion. The single "A Million Miles Away (I Wish I Had a Time Machine)" from this album became the 32nd most played song in commercial radio in the United States in October 2012. Their second album, The Final Breath Before November, was released in 2014. After a hiatus due to Blackwood's health issues, Edison's Children returned with The Disturbance Fields in July 2019, which was also the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 and Neil Armstrong's moon landing.
