Biography
Mr. Polska was born on July 20, 1989 in ToruÅ, Poland. His real name is Dominik WÅodzimierz Czajka-Groot. He is a Polish-Dutch rapper and singer. As a child, he moved to the Netherlands with his family and grew up in Zaltbommel. In the late 2000s, Dominik Czajka-Groot began making his first rap recordings and battle rap appearances. He quickly became a conspicuous figure in the Dutch hip-hop scene. His stage name Mr. Polska alludes to his Polish origins. Musically, Mr. Polska moves between hip-hop, trap, electro-rap and pop-rap. His songs combine hard beats with humorous, often ironic lyrics. He mainly raps in Dutch. He first became known through releases on Ali B's Nouveau Riche label. In the early 2010s, he attracted a lot of attention with the singles "Soldaatje" and "Krokobil". Both tracks became viral successes in the Netherlands. In 2012, the debut album Waarschijnlijk Roman was released and reached number 1 in the Dutch album charts. This is followed by $noller (2014), which also reaches high chart positions. With "Hausa Wausa" and "Allermooiste Feestje", Mr. Polska lands further successful singles in the Dutch charts. In 2015, Nachtmerrie reaches number 3 in the Dutch album charts. Another studio album, +48, is released in 2024. In May 2026, another single, "Spring", is released together with rappers Ski Aggu and Natte Visstick.
