Biography
DREAM DOLPHIN, a solo music project of Japanese model and ambient music and acid trance musician, Noriko Kodera. Her career began in 1995 with the release of the single "Dolphins Talk to You". She quickly followed up with her debut album, Love Eating Alien, in 1996. Throughout the late 1990s, she released a prolific number of albums, including Cosmic Blue (1996), Atmospheric Healing (1996), and 2001 / D.D. Since 1969 (1997). She collaborated with artists such as Yoshiaki Ochi during live performances and worked on notable projects, like Earth Music Cafe (2002). Her final album before a hiatus, Modern Blue Ambient, was released in 2003. DREAM DOLPHIN gained renewed attention in the 2020s with the release of compilations such as Gaia: Selected Ambient & Downtempo Works (1996â2003) in 2023, and has performed live in Tokyo in August 2024.
