Brazilian funk artist Marcelo Alves Ferreira dos Passos, better known as MC Dena, first emerged in São Pauloâs thriving funk scene in the early 2020s, steadily building presence through local baile funk performances before collaborating in late 2024 and early 2025 with MC GP, Vulgo FK, MC Cebezinho, and DuâL on the breakout track âTenta Peitar,â which became a social media sensation with over 2 million plays and viral dance trends.
