Biography
French DJ and producer DJ Kawest is making a name for himself on social networks and on his video channel, where he shares his music blending African Afrobeat rhythms, dancehall and zouk. Trained as a pianist and percussionist, he signed with the Juston Records label and released the track "When Haiti Meets Angola" in 2021 , followed by collaborations with DJ Flex and AndyBeatz, Mr. Vegas, Allikey, Hiro, Cadie Nelva, Royalty and Maureen, Low Jay and other artists from diverse backgrounds. After duets in 2024 with Gaëlle on "Serre-moi fort", T-Gui on "Konpa Paradise", Jahyanai on "Pepper", Celyane on "Trophée", Joé Dwet Filé on "Dis-moi" and DDB on "Parano", DJ Kawest gets down to work on his debut album Hybride, released in December and featuring collaborations with Heaven Sam, Attachingboy, Innoss'B, Kim, Bolemvn and Lyna Mahyem, Bramsito, Vayb, Emma'a and Nesly. One of the singles, "Chambre 04", reached number 39 in the French singles chart.
