David Záizar Torres, also known as David Záizar, was born on November 14, 1928, in Tamazula, Jalisco, and was a Mexican singer. He began his musical career alongside his brother Juan, forming the duo Los Hermanos Záizar. In 1951, they released their first LP featuring hits like "Cielo rojo" and "Sonar". In 1958, he embarked on a solo career, known for songs like "Anillo de compromiso" by Cuco Sánchez and "El jinete" by José Alfredo Jiménez. He was recognized for his falsetto in huapangos. He passed away on January 2, 1982, in Mexico City due to a heart attack.
