Biography

Darius Koski is an American punk rock guitarist known for incorporating elements of country music and roots rock. He joined Johnny Peebucks and the Swingin' Utters in 1990, which later renamed itself to The Swingin' Utters in 1994, contributing as a lead guitarist and vocalist. The band released their debut album Scared in 1992 and won 'Best Debut Album' at the Bay Area Music Awards for The Streets of San Francisco in 1995. They signed with Fat Wreck Chords in 1996, releasing several albums including A Juvenile Product of the Working Class. Koski also provided lead vocals on many tracks and collaborated on side projects such as Filthy Thieving Bastards. The band's music was featured in various compilations and soundtracks, notably the 2001 film That Darn Punk, and they toured extensively with bands like Dropkick Murphys and Rancid.
