Crystal Cheung, born on July 21, 1985, originally named Cheung Wai Yan, is a Hong Kong singer, actress, and television host, formerly a member of the girl group HotCha. Each member of the trio specialized in different dance genres, with Cheung excelling in modern jazz dance. Before her debut, Cheung and fellow HotCha member Lai Mei Yin were dancers for the artist Yip Man Fai. She was discovered after filming a promotional video for the "Neway 06 World Cup Finals Week" with Zheng Rong in 2006. As a solo artist, she has released singles including "åè£æå¿« (Pretending to Be Happy)" in 2013, "å°å¥³ççé (Girl's Sneakers)" in 2017, "ç¨ç«å®ä½(Independent Unit)" in 2019, and "æææ·æ¨é¢ (Emotional Decluttering)" in 2025.
