Biography
Cross Vault, a German doom metal group from Mainz, was formed in 2013 by M. and N., who shared a passion for epic doom music. Their debut album, Spectres of Revocable Loss, was released on June 20, 2014, via Eyes Like Snow. The band expanded its lineup with Benjamin "Skullsplitter" Fritsch joining as drummer. Cross Vault's second album, The All-Consuming, came out on November 6, 2015, through Northern Silence Productions. They released the EP Miles to Take on November 18, 2016, and their third album, As Strangers We Depart, on May 28, 2021, both via Iron Bonehead Productions.
