Biography

Creepmime was a Dutch death metal band formed in 1991 in Leiden. The initial lineup included Rogier Hakkaart, Andy Judd, Marja Koelewijn, and Gerrit Koekebakker. In February 1992, the band recorded their first demo, Anthems for a Doomed Youth, which secured them a record deal with Mascot Records. Their debut album, Shadows, was recorded in August 1993 and produced by Patrick Mameli of Pestilence. Creepmime played in support of Cynic in the Netherlands and briefly toured the country with them. In August 1995, they released their second album, Chiaroscuro, followed by a European tour with Sinister and a Dutch tour with Threnody and Ministry of Terror. After Andy Judd's departure in 1996, the band fell apart.
