Craig Padilla, born in Redding, California, is an American ambient musician and film score composer. Since the mid-1990s, he has released over a dozen albums inspired by the Berlin School of electronic music and space music. His debut album Eye of the Storm was released in 1996. Padilla's discography includes collaborations with artists such as Skip Murphy, Paul Ellis, Zero Ohms, Howard Givens, Marvin Allen, Madhavi Devi, and Sendelica. Notable albums include The Soul Within, Beyond Volume One, Vostok (2002), Planetary Elements, Echo System, Genesis, Phantasma, Below the Mountain, Sonar, and Life Flows Water. Padilla has also contributed to the musical scores of Phobias (2003) and Space Crüesader (2012). His work spans various genres within electronic music.
