Biography
Constants is an American post-rock band from Boston. The group was formed in 2003 by Will Benoit, Ben Fowlie, and Duncan Rich. Their debut album, Nostalgia for the Future (2004), was followed by the EP The Murder of Tom Fitzgerril (2006). They embarked on a 10-month tour in a bus converted to run on waste vegetable oil. The bandâs lineup included Orion Wainer, Rob Motes, and Jon Hassell. Their recordings include the three-album set The Foundation, The Machine, The Ascension (2009) and the album If Tomorrow the War (2010), which featured production by Justin K. Broadrick. Subsequent releases include the albums Pasiflora (2012) and Devotion (2020).
