Collection d'Arnell Andréa, formed in 1986 in Orléans, France, is a French heavenly voices / neo-classical dark wave group, led by JeanâChristophe d'Arnell and Chloé SaintâLiphard. The band debuted with the EP, Autumn's Breath for Anton's Death, in 1988, followed by Un automne à Loroy (1989), Au Val des Roses (1990), and VillersâauxâVents (Février 1916) (1994). In 1996, Cirses des Champs introduced the electric guitar. The group signed with Prikosnovénie in 2002, releasing Tristesse des Mânes (2002), The Bower of Despair (2004), Exposition, eauxâfortes et méandres (2007), and La Nuit des Fées - Live (2008). They also released VernesâMonde (2010), Another Winter (2019), and A Forest Inside (2023). Notable collaborations with Dead Can Dance and Cocteau Twins underscored their influence.
