CLAN QUEEN is a Japanese three-member band known for their genre-blending sound and visually striking releases. The group consists of yowa (vocals), AOi (guitar, vocals), and Mai (bass, chorus). They evolved from a previous band called WARS iN CLOSET, which was formed in 2020 by AOi, Mai, and original vocalist Itou Yuta. After Itouâs departure in late 2022, the band rebranded as CLAN QUEEN and began a new musical chapter. Their official debut under the new name came with the digital "singleHellfire Club" in November 2022. Throughout 2023, they released a series of singles, including "Tokyo Mood", which entered Spotifyâs viral chart Top 10, and "Odorakuen", followed by their first live show in Shibuya. Their 2024 momentum included the release of their first full album VeiL on April 3, followed by a successful one-man live show and a national tour titled PARADE OF TOYS. CLAN QUEENâs style fuses rock, pop, and electronic elements with dark, fantastical imagery. On June 14, 2025, they released their latest single "NEBULA", continuing to push creative boundaries and establishing themselves as one of Japan's most exciting rising bands.
