Fabián Alexis Cartagena, known professionally as Clarent, was born on 8 January 1999 in San Juan, Caparra, Puerto Rico, and works as a rapper and singer. Before committing to music, he worked as a barber in the Slayter neighborhood, a common background for emerging urban artists in the region. Clarentâs first public appearance in the music scene came with the 2022 collaboration "No mezclamos" with Casiah, a trapâhall track that marked his formal entry, followed by the solo single "1A" released on 4 June 2023, which became his first official digital success. He continued to build momentum with singles such as "Enzaciao" (2023), "Trópico" (2024), "Sport+" (2024), and "Casamigos" (2024), all of which reinforced his presence on streaming platforms.
