Chystemc (often styled ChysteMC) is the stage name of Diego Torres Rojas, a Chilean rapper and songwriter born August 28, 1987, in La Florida, Santiago, who began writing and recording hip-hop in the late 1990s and built his first buzz through local freestyles and early home-recorded material. After developing his profile inside Chileâs rap circuit and through collective work (including his early association with the crew De Killtros), he moved into a steadier solo catalog in the 2000s, with the album Insomnio (2006) establishing his introspective, street-level storytelling and melodic hooks. His visibility widened with La Paranoia del Psycho Joke Fú (2010), a project tied to some of his best-known cuts from that era, including âSentado en la Arena,â and it set the template for the more polished releases that followed. In 2016, he returned with Techymuv, an album that paired his reflective writing with bass-forward production and prominent collaborations, including âI Love You a Lo VÃoâ with Movimiento Original and Adosene, and tracks featuring DJ Transe. From 2021 onward he kept a steady run of standalone releases such as âBoombarrioâ (with Macrodee), then continued adding singles across 2022â2025, including âBrillante,â âCaudal (Versión 2),â and âEncandiloe,â alongside the EP Improvisasongs (Instrumental) (2025). He remained active into late 2025 with âEarly,â a joint single with DJ TEE that showed him still leaning into modern rap sonics while keeping his diaristic, neighborhood-rooted voice.
