Biography
Christian Nara is a Guadeloupean zouk singer from Capesterre-Belle-Eau, on Basse-Terre. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s as a member of the groups Energy, Double Jeu, Zéro Faute, and K'ravan. The son of singer Franck Nara, he began making music at the age of 9, starting with percussion and then moving on to the piano. After winning a singing contest organized by Jacob Desvarieux at the age of 18, he recorded three albums with the group Energy, then joined the groups Double Jeu, K'raven, and Zéro Faute. In 1998, he released his first solo album, Fou de Vous, produced by Henry Debs. This was followed by Pas à Pas (2000), Air Love (2005), 5 Live with his father (2007), and then In the World (2013). He has had several hits, notably with Medhy Custos on âLè ou enmé â in 2019, and âDoulé lanmouâ, which reached No. 8 on the Overseas Songs chart in 2026.
