Chiyan Wong, born on November 13, 1988, in Hong Kong, is a Chinese pianist. He began piano lessons at age six and won multiple awards at the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. In 2000, Wong received a scholarship to study at Chethamâs School of Music in Manchester under Norma Fisher, debuting as a soloist that year. His early career included winning prizes at international competitions in Enschede in 2004 and Kyiv in 2005. In 2012, he studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London on a scholarship recommended by Stephen Hough. Wong's notable performances include solo concerts featuring works by Robert Schumann and Franz Liszt, as well as collaborations with the London Festival Orchestra.
