Biography
Cheng Yi (May 17, 1990) is a Chinese actor and singer who jumped to fame as Feng Xiaobao on the television series Beauty World in 2011. Born in Huaihua, Hunan, he attended the Central Academy of Drama and graduated in 2012. During the next few years, Cheng Yi continued to consolidate his acting career with roles in the films Inside the Girls (2014) and Impossible (2015), as well as the massively popular Chinese television drama Noble Aspirations in 2016. In 2017, he made his musical debut with the single âGoodbye to the Past,â followed by the track âLiving Like Raging Waveâ (2019), included in the soundtrack of the series The Lost Tomb II: Explore the Note, a show he also starred in. A year later, Cheng Yi played the role of Yu Sifeng on 2020âs Love and Redemption and issued the single âGuard,â which was featured on the showâs original soundtrack.
