Capper, born 张砚拙 on June 21, 2000 in Xi’an, Shaanxi, is a mainland Chinese rapper who also worked as a graphic designer and street artist, and he graduated from Xijing University’s Xingzhi College of Finance and Economics. Zhang Yanzhuo released his first single "Cake" in 2017, then stepped into the national spotlight in 2019 by competing on the rap variety show The Rap of China, where he performed "New Lusha" and finished in the national Top 20. In 2020, he put out the single "No Man’s Land Rose", and in 2021 he won Rap for Youth with his self-written track "Ouroboros". Zhang Yanzhuo issued his first full-length creative album Sword and Rose in 2022 and also appeared on the rap competition series Rap Star. In 2023, Capper announced a solo tour, released the album Uniconfication. In 2024, Capper appeared on the competitive reality show Shining Summer, and the creative label GAG was officially launched. In 2025, he performed at the Changzhou Xinlong Forest Music Festival, kicked off the Who Am I tour on August 16 and closed the run with the Guangzhou stop on September 27. In December the same year, he released the album Gun-fire Angel, featuring songs like "Mew Rage Up!" and "M4A4".
