Byron Metcalf, born in the United States, is a percussionist, musician, and composer known for his work in ambient and tribal music. In 1998, Metcalf released his debut album Helpers, Guides & Allies... Navigating the Shamanic Landscape, which received critical acclaim and reached the number 4 position on Backroads Music's World Music category for 1998.
