Bunny Brains, an American punk/rock ensemble fronted by Daniel Seward, originated in Danbury, Connecticut, in the late 1980s. Their first single "Live In New Heaven" was released in 2001. Bunny Brains' discography includes albums such as Holiday Massacre '98 (2003), Box the Bunny (2004), and What Makes You Think You Can Save Yourself (from Yourself) (2008). The band has collaborated with acts like Sebadoh, Devendra Banhart, Jackie O' Motherfucker, and Japanther. They also performed at The Kitchen in collaboration with artist Aïda Ruilova.
