Biography

Bruno Letort is a French guitarist and composer born on March 10, 1963, in Vichy. His father directed Unidisc, a label that collaborated with Pierre Henry. Letort released the jazz-rock albums Conversations (1981) and November Flight (1982). In 1994, he composed the interactive opera François Villon, l'opéra. He began producing radio programs for France Musique and France Culture in 1995, including Tapage nocturne. Letort released the album Mégapoles in 1999 and founded the Signature label for Radio France in 2000. He composed the multidisciplinary work Lignes in 2005 and the soundscape for the museum Trainworld in 2015. Letort provided arrangements for Stromae's album Multitude in 2022 and released the recording Black Museum in 2024.
