Bruno Blum, born October 4, 1960 in Vichy, France, is a French singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and musicologist. He is also known by his nickname "Doc Reggae." He began his career as a teenage musician in London, playing bass in the group Private Vices and working as a journalist in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Blum later developed a solo career spanning reggae, dub, rock, and African-influenced music. His self-titled debut album was released in 1990. Other releases include Nuage D'Ãthiopie (2001), Think Différent (2002), and Cabaret Végane (2016).
