Biography
Booji Boys, a Canadian garage punk band from Halifax, Nova Scotia, formed in 2016 and consisted of vocalist Alex Mitchell, guitarists Cody Googoo and Steve Earle, bassist Adam LeDrew, and drummer Justin Crowe. Before their official debut, Booji Boys released several demo recordings, including 6 Track Demo (2016) and 06/04/2016 Practice Tape? (2016). Their self-titled debut album, Booji Boys, was issued in January 2017, followed by the EP Sweet Boy (2017). The band gained significant attention with their second album, Weekend Rocker (December 2017), which was longlisted for the 2018 Polaris Music Prize and also appeared on the !earshot National Top 50 chart in February 2018. In 2019, the band released their third album, Tube Reducer.
