Bonjay is a Canadian R&B group from Toronto, Ontario, consisting of vocalist Alanna Stuart and instrumentalist Ian Swain. The duo formed after Stuart met Swain in Ottawa while he was working as a disk jockey. Their debut EP Gimmee Gimmee was released in 2009, followed by Broughtupsy in 2010. After touring in support of the release, including at the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival, Bonjay took an extended hiatus. The duo reunited in 2015 with the single "Ingenue" and released their full-length album Lush Life in 2018, which was long-listed for the Polaris Music Prize. They supported the album with a short tour alongside Vivek Shraya's Too Attached project and performed at the Hamilton Supercrawl.
