Biography
Blue Stone is an American electropop project formed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2006 by producer Robert Smith and multi-instrumentalist Bill Walters. The core duo write the majority and produce all of the project's music, collaborating with various female guest vocalists. Their debut studio album, Breathe, was released on January 31, 2006, under the Neurodisc label, featuring vocalist Darcy and entering the iTunes Electronic Album Chart Top 100. In 2007, they released the album Worlds Apart, which shifted toward conventional verse-chorus song structures and featured vocalists Sheyenne Rivers, Samantha Sandlin, and Maura Hurley. The duo followed with the remix album Worlds Apart Remixed in 2008 and the studio album Messages on July 28, 2009. Their subsequent discography includes the studio album Pandora's Box (2011), the EP Phoenix (2012), the album Compendium (2014), and the studio album Prophecy, released on March 19, 2020. Their electronic-ambient sound integrates layered hardware and software synthesizers with live piano, vocals, and percussion.
