Biography

Bloodflowerz, a German metal band from Schwäbisch Hall, was formed in 2001. They signed with Achim Ostertag/Silverdust Records that year and released their debut album Diabolic Angel in April 2002. The band gained attention as an opening act for bands such as Anathema, Subway to Sally, and In Extremo. Their second album, 7 Benedictions 7 Maledictions, was released in 2003. Significant lineup changes occurred in late 2005, leading to the departure of several members. In 2006, they released their third album, Dark Love Poems. Bloodflowerz performed at notable festivals such as M’era Luna and Summer Breeze. Their final concert took place on December 26, 2007, in Nürnberg. The band reopened a new chapter in early 2015 with a revised lineup.
