Biography

French metal is doing quite well and is now recognized on the international circuit. With a killer look and indomitable energy, BlackRain became the figurehead of French glam metal at the turn of the millennium. The band made a name for themselves in Europe and Japan in 2002, before releasing their debut album Black Rain in 2006. 2008's Licence to Thrill testifies to BlackRain's progress, making their outrageous hard rock more credible than ever. Lethal Dose of... in 2011 marks a further step forward with a major promotional tour of France. After an unexpected detour via the TV talent show La France a un incroyable talent in 2012, BlackRain released It Begins in June 2013, produced by Jack Douglas.
